Explore it with us during a four-day visit through its vibrant streets and unique culture that combines fascinating history and the present-day dynamics.
Lag B'omer: We will celebrate Lag B'Omer with barbeque, bonfire and live music gathering at a special venue accompanied by young representatives from the local community.
Shabbat: A rich Shabbat program will include inspiring talks, festive meals and memorable Havdalla ceremony on a boat!
Cuisine: While enjoying delicious kosher Italian food, you will get a chance to learn some „hidden tips“ for perfect pizza and pasta while cooking with Italian chefs!
Sightseeing: Guided tours by professionals are organised in a way so that we visit all main attractions in Rome. We will meander through the narrow streets of the Jewish ghetto to get an idea of what life used to be like for the Jews who lived in old Rome and how that compares to life today, where the ghetto represents the modern heart and gathering place of the Jewish community. The main sites tour, told from a Jewish perspective, will include the most famous outdoor sights of the Eternal City including Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Column of Marcus Aurelius, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps as well as some intimate, less known sites.
